		Christopher Hughes, PT, PhD, OCS, CSCS, as chair of the physical therapy review group for Doody’s Book Review Service, is responsible for coordinating reviews of books and software in physical therapy, recruiting appropriate reviewers and occasionally reviewing himself. A Professor of Physical Therapy at Slippery Rock University, Dr. Hughes received his PhD in Sports Medicine in 1990 from the University of Virginia. He received his MPT degree in Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University in 1993. He received his Board Certification in Orthopaedics (OCS) in 2001 and maintains regular clinical practice and research interests in shoulder biomechanics and rehabilitation. He has held various leadership positions at the state and national levels within the American Physical Therapy Association. He also has serves a manuscript reviewer for a number of journals including Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Journal, Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research and Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
